Doctors
Dr. Eric Shelton
Dr. Shelton graduated from the University of
Iowa College of Dentistry in 2002. He was
elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental
honor society prior to graduation. After
graduation he went into practice in Decorah.
He became owner of Dental Associates in 2007.
He and his wife, Jen, have four children--Alexa,
Ellyson, Drake and Avery. Dr. Shelton is a
member of the American Dental Association, the
Decorah Lions Club and the Decorah Viking
Athletic Booster Club. He enjoys outdoor
activities, golf, softball, exercising and
coaching his children.

Dr. Paul Ostlie
Dr. Ostlie graduated from the University of
Minnesota College of Dentistry in 1990.
He
started his practice in Moorhead, Minnesota,
then came to Dental Associates in 1992. Dr. Ostlie and his wife, Lori, have three
sons--Eric, James and Thomas.

Dr. Mark Buitenwerf
Dr. Buitenwerf graduated from the University
of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1972. He joined
Dental Associates in 2008 after 34 years of
practicing in Prairie City, Iowa and Prescott,
Arizona.
Dr. Buitenwerf says, "I have always enjoyed
using my talents in doing high quality, honest
dentistry for my patients. I take time with each
patient, trying to put them at ease so they have
a good experience in my chair."
